The Heart Behind
One Spirit

About Erin

My connection to bodywork began long before I understood it as a profession. As a child, my parents would massage me before bed to help me relax and sleep, and from an early age I came to understand the comfort and healing that can come through touch.

That connection became something more while traveling in Thailand in 2012, when I enrolled in an 80-hour Thai massage program. For the first time, I experienced the deep sense of fulfillment that came not only from receiving bodywork, but from providing it to others. I returned home knowing I wanted to continue that path.

I went on to complete a comprehensive massage therapy program at the Bodhi Tree Center for the Healing Arts in Carson City, Nevada, graduating in 2014. My training encompassed a wide range of therapeutic traditions and techniques, including Swedish and deep tissue massage, Shiatsu, acupressure, energy work, prenatal massage, stretching and movement-based bodywork. Since then, I have continued to expand my practice through training in craniosacral techniques, cupping, and, currently, Erik Dalton's Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques.

Over the years, I have worked in spas, massage centers, as a mobile therapist, and now from my own private studio. Those experiences have shaped a philosophy that remains at the heart of my practice: the technique should serve the person — not the other way around.

I charge for my time rather than for individual modalities because each session is a blend of my education, experience, intuition, and what your body needs that day. My natural approach tends toward deeper therapeutic work aimed at relieving areas of tension and discomfort, but your preferences always come first. Whether you need focused bodywork or simply a quiet, restorative massage, the session is yours.

I want you to feel completely comfortable communicating what you need. Pressure, temperature, lighting, music, and other aspects of the experience can all be adjusted. I also make my own massage balm from simple, natural ingredients and can incorporate essential oils according to your preferences.

For me, learning is an ongoing part of being a bodyworker. I continue to study new techniques and deepen my understanding of the physical and energetic body so I can bring a broader range of tools to every person I work with.

Outside the studio, I love spending time in nature with my husband and three children. I enjoy gardening, caring for our animals, foraging, making herbal preparations from what I find, and creating things in the kitchen.

I’m looking forward to meeting you and assisting you in your healing journey.
